Religious School Teacher

HaMakom of Temple Beth Am is looking for part-time Religious School teachers for the 2021 – 2022 school year (August - May) who are enthusiastic, creative, reliable, and nurturing.

Temple Beth Am is a Reform Congregation located in Jupiter, Florida. Religious School meets Sundays from 9:30 am – noon (K – 7th), Tuesdays from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm (3rd – 7th).

We are currently hiring for the positions:
• 3rd - 7th grade teachers
• Pre-K teacher (once month on Sundays)
• Hebrew via Skype (online) teachers
• Substitutes (all)

Job responsibilities include: development and implementation of interactive & engaging lesson plans, ability to communicate effectively with parents, work with Madrichim (teacher’s aides) in the classroom, and participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Job requirements include: Prior teaching experience recommended, a commitment to Jewish education and enjoy working with children, excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
